Are You Ready To Turn Your Passion Into a Business?

You have a passion you want to offer the world. In order to do that effectively, you must first create the foundation and structure to support the product or service you wish to sell. There are few ways to create that foundation and structure, and two ways would include coaching and mentoring.

Coaching gives you the opportunity to build your business based on your deepest beliefs and core values. Your values provide you with a compass that tells you which way to go. Your values will lead you to the resources that will grow your business, and they will attract the customers who will benefit most from your product or service.

There are times when a new business owner could benefit from the guidance of an experienced business owner. A mentor can offer resources and advice in areas that are outside of the new business owner's experience. An example of this could be a new business owner who wants to learn about business basics. He knows he learns best from a classroom environment but he doesn't know what classes would be best and he doesn't know where to start looking for classes. A mentor may know of an organization that offers free business classes and can suggest some specific classes that could benefit him.

Because of my experience as a business owner, I am able to support my clients as both a coach and a mentor. I do this by helping clients with "Inner" and "Outer" work.

The Inner Work and Outer Work of Building Your Business

I believe there are four aspects of building a business based on values, and they make up the two kinds of work you will do:
  • The Inner Work is made up of Spiritual and
    Emotional Aspects
  • The Outer Work is made up of Mental and
    Physical Aspects

Creating a business you love is about knowing what matters most to you and creating a structure that will support you as you communicate and sell your passion to the world. Doing Inner Work helps you to understand what you need in place to work with integrity and authenticity. The Outer Work is the organization of the processes that you will physically implement to build your business.

The Inner and Outer work you do is concurrent and ongoing. As you do the mental organizing and physical work of the business, you will constantly be checking in with your emotions and your Spirit to make sure you are on the right track. The Inner Work you do helps you to create powerful goals with purpose and confidence, and you will be more likely to follow through to complete them.

As a coach, I will guide you through the Inner Work through powerful coaching techniques. I will also support you by holding you accountable for both the Inner and Outer Work you do throughout the coaching relationship.

Mentoring comes into play as a result of my experience as a business owner. Based on personal experience and my work with other business owners over the past few years, I am able to offer practical suggestions and resources that will help you with your Outer Work. You are always at choice when I make a suggestion, and I will always encourage you to do what you feel is right for you.

Let's take a closer look at the four aspects of building your business.
